Need help with Kustom cab.

I just picked up a kustom head and cab. Got it from a friend who didnt know much about it. THings in ridiculous good condition. I was trying to find a little more information on it tho.

THe model number is J 595 RV
The serial is 11204

Any information you could give me would be appreciated.

Reverb -- (tremolo) speed and intensity -- I would say that's a guitar amp -- not necessarily a good choice for bass.

From what ive looked up, its fine for guitar and bass. But i play bass and this is the site i go to whenever i need help which is why i posted it here. Haha. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this.

Might still work fine for bass, the speakers might not like it much. Get some Altec 421A's or JBL D140's for the cab? Maybe some Eminence 3015's?

ITs got jensen speakers in it right now.
They are monsters. I been researchin' a little since I made this thread, and from what I've learned its a 1967 kustom frankenstein but cant find much other then that.

The Jensens sounded pretty sweet for guitar, but bass will cook them. Try the head through a bass cab, I'll bet it sounds pretty nice!

Interesting! John always talked more about his Sunns with me? But that was 1980's and I had the 2000S. That relationship only lasted less than a year.

Makes sense... i'd personally take a 2000s over a Kustom 200 anyday.

Not that i wouldn't thoroughly enjoy both.

Whoa a Franken' head! you are lucky! I would go to Vintagekustom.com That's we're the Kustom Fanatics can tell you everything you need to know. I happen to be a huge vintage Kustom fan.. The head is probably from 68' but I am not to sure. Hit that website up.
