BLADE club! Show your Swiss beauties!

Thank you BassAgent. I hope I'll get the bass in a few days and then I will see what wood it is. I wish for ebony. I have that on my Aria Pro's and Daions and I think it gives a very nice feel and a good attack. I will probably contact them anyway to see if they have a clear pickguard as that is...

BLADE club! Show your Swiss beauties!

Since the first time I tried a friends Blade Strat I knew that this is what I want in Fenderesque guitars and basses. Today I put the winning bid on an auction for what seems to be a rare Levinson Blade Rockbass. This community might be the only source for info about these basses so please tell...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

I have searched for this bass many years now. Since a month back I know it plays just as good as it looks. :) As soon as the weather allows I will make better pictures.

Can anyone identify this Aria Pro-II?

Hi Joe. Most likely this is the SB-1200. It is probably from the late 90's and Korean, but this is just out of my erratic mind... I'm pretty sure the Bartolini's are aftermarket. Did you buy the bass? It is not the most common model but I think it looks really nice.

Vintage Sounding 100 watt Tube amp?

I got a Sovtek MIG 100b Blues Bassov. I traded my Marshall Super Bass to get it and I have never regret the change. The Blues Bassov is big and warm. It never plays Fender clean but with a lot of character. I run it through Marshall JMP800 410 + 215-cabs. The amp I had before the Marshall was...

Basses you should have never sold...???

All those regrets... I really regret the sale of my beatiful Aria Pro SB-900 batwing. I could have kept all the SB-1000 I've had as well, but the batwing was a tad better and more good looking, and I still have 1 SB-1000 and 2 RSB-900, which is an SB-1000 with 4-inline head... I do also miss my...

How many basses do you own? (Currently) Part 2

6 Aria Pro II, 2 Daion, 1 Fender, 1 Warwick, 1 Steinberger, 1 Takeharu, 1 Eko, 1 Tacoma and a hand built double bass. And a project bass of random parts. Edit: Forgot my Westbury and my Epi thunderbird...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

I just got hold of an MB-III (I think) and put it into the bridge position. It is a p-bass style non-epoxi pickup. So the new pickup is on hold for a while. I say for a while because this pickup has visible pole-pieces and that is not original on my bass. Anyhow, the bass is now sounding fine...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Thank you Carl. I will contact him. Unfortunately my finnish is limited to less than 20 words, and with his location I would guess Swedish isn't the 2:nd choise of language... And regarding the preamps... do you know if it would be possible to connect a pair of the MB-II to the pre? If I make a...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Thank you!!! I have searched this info everywhere. I have measured my RSB-pickups and they has a DC-resistance of 5,42kOhm for the alive coil on my half dead bridge pickup and 5,65+5,53 kOhm for the alive one in the neck. By the way... this bass is an RSB Deluxe-5. As far as I know the pickups...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Without having the patience to check every discussion in this marvellous tread I would like to ask this: Is there anyone of you that could tell the difference between the different pickups of the SB, TSB, RSB and CSB-basses. There are MB-IE, MB-II, MB-III, MB-IV and MB-V. I know the first two...
