It is definitely the power curve setup. which helps me date my Bass a little better. I bought it used at a Sam Ash in Edison, NJ back in the day. After Further research, this may be a SR1000 EBK circa 1987.

My question is, is it worth it to spend te extra money now, or can I preserve the bass by saving as much of the current setup as possible and giving it to a tech at a later date to re-install it at a later time the proper way? Or just go with a new setup at a later time? Opinions welcome.

My choice to use small business may be cost prohibitive. To have this guy look at the bass and do a basic setub... ( neck adjusting, and whatever) has already cost me $130.00. And don't get me wrong, my first instinct was to get a second opinion. So your reply to my thread is greatly...
