I reckon Ned Steinberger solved the problem a long time ago but people wouldn`t buy his solution so his early designs are now collectors items.

Finally a bass built to answer the shielding problem of RF! I reckon hum from line voltage and flourescent lighting will still be a problem?

I think string tension is a more likely explanation for the condition of the headstock angle.Knocking the headstock is not likely to bend anything other than the tuners.I don`t see what the problem is by looking at your picture?

I`d buy the four banger just to hang on the wall and stare at the quilted top.......WOW!

I just bought a 2004 American Standard Jazz with the S1 switch removed. Do people remove them because they find the switch problematic or do they not find the parallel series function usefull. I`m guessing it`s because most players don`t appreciate the subtle difference between series and...
