I play guitar and bought a bass to record backing tracks to play along with. Now I'm hooked and got a second bass after learning about James Jamerson and my guitar is getting jealous.

I was checking out Ravens lab which had a less than straight forward AC supply. And I was also saying that to rule out the tiny headphone amps :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't plan to take it out of the house too much so if an AC power option is preferable. There is so much out there!
