Thanks all for your kind words. I do love that instrument. Can't say enough about how all well these components all fit the SG. The bridge PUP does require routing, but the guys at the shop that did the install unanimously said it was like the Dark Stars and bridge were factory installed...

If by "combo" you mean "cabinet", then yes. The amp head slides out of a bracket on top of the speaker cab, separating the combo. So I need an extension cable to run from the pigtail on the cabinet to the input jack on the amp head.

The pigtail comes out of the cabinet and ends in a male speakon connector. It's just long enough to connect to the amp when the amp is nestled in its bracket atop the cabinet.

Thanks for the reply. When I look at the connectors on the cable I see what look like 4 contacts; 2 on the center post and two on the outer wall. I assume that's a 4 conductor cable. DOA cable? :atoz:
