    I recommend the quads for bass players. I use 1964 ears quads and they are amazing! Shortly after I bought mine the rest of my band ended up buying them too. We are now endorsed by 1964 ears! Great people to deal with too.

    I recently bought a bass and come to find out it was featured in an issue of bass player magazine. I am trying to locate the issue to buy because it would be a neat collector piece. It is a bass shootout type issue from 1998-99. The bass is a 5 string Ken Smith. Anybody recall the issue?

    How often does your bass go out of tune?

    I check my tuning before each gig, but my Ken Smith is rarely out of tune.
