I hadn't heard this. This is great news.

I tried them because I am still looking for a replacement for the discontinued GHS Progressives. I found them stiff and still very Rotosound. I left them on which isn't the case with other strings I've tried. So not terrible.

Lot of responses here to read but I would ask two questions. 1. Are you flaunting an embarrassment of riches in front of guys struggling to make rent? 2. Are your bandmates standing around with their hands in their pockets while you run cables and twiddle knobs?

Yeah the stock pickup is awful. I replaced mine with a quarter pounder. Also put on a BadAss bridge and Hipshot tuners. I'm very pleased.
