Thanks for the reply, Awhile ago I considered the Trib. l2000 but I decided that I wanted the simplicity of a Jazz bass (3 knobs and no switches). The Trib. l2000 is also a little farther out my price range compared to then JB-2 and the Squire VM.

I've been researching getting a bass for quite some time now and now I'm ready to buy. Of course I'm a beginner and want a bass that is not terribly expensive but is good enough for a starter bass and beyond. I'm considering a Squire VM Jazz or G&L Tribute JB-2 any opinions? Matt

About a year ago after doing some surfing I came upon a site that let you listen to different basses with a signal processor or different processors (I forget). Any ideas on what that site might be. I know this is a pretty vague request but its all I have.
