I have the output turned almost all the way down, and if I hit the low ends hard the limit light comes on. And if I turn it up the limit light comes on almost all the time and it sounds distorted. It's a 450W half stack. I don't know what I'm doing and I'm frustrated.

I just cleaned out my knobs with the air. It made a big difference. I was able to finally use them and clean up my sound. I still have a little of the metalic sound when my fingers slide across the strings, but I was able to get a lot of it out. I can almost match the thick sound of the Epi with...

It's a 4 string. No it doesn't have a pre-amp (thanks for explaing that). I have a friend that told me if I take the back off I might be able to spray some canned air in the knobs and maybe clean up the sound (on the Ibanez) a little. I was just about to try that.

I really don't know. It just says "TR Series" on it. I couln't find a serial number to look it up earlier. You don't know where the sn would be on these do you?
