The BAM200 is rated at 200watts continuous at 4ohms. Bc200 is rated 200watt continuous but 8 ohms. So bam200 with 1 bc208 is 100watt . Adding a second bc208 cuts the total impedance to 4 ohms, so boot the power to 200 watt. But as been pointed out that’s all max rating. And it’s also been...

Yeah, I think the scale is that 10dB is effectively doubled percieved loudness, but doubling the cab only really only gives 3dB. Which is perceptible, but not double. And I"m not really looking for double, am I? I don't need to keep up w/ a jet engine... even tho the drummer might disagree🙃...

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get that kind of info, so peak SPL is shorthand. Even 107dB easily causes hearing damage so I'd say that should be loud enough for my needs. If I'm needing something to fill more space, that's what I'd say a PA is for.

410s are so heavy.... but if I were to go that way, I'd probably get rid of the 208. I don't think it would be adding much except extra stuff to carry around. And then I'd want to go 4ohms to get the most out of the amp. So... know any <50lbs >200watt 410s for cheap? 🙃

Ah… I live in the boonies. Returning a cab would mean a several hour road trip or paying to ship, I think. 2 bc208 @200watt peaks out about 116db, theoretically, which is… really effin loud. And since the cabs support 200watt each, I could find a 400watt head and really cause some damage… Why...
