Any one have a review,opinion, or sound clip. On the rio grande muy grande pickup for P bass? Can you still get a sweet vintage tone when you back off on the volume? Or do you sacrifice that? Thanks!!

Fender original 62's TRUST ME

Did Fender use a sanding sealer on there solid color alder bodies? exmp. so say a 1970 p bass in custom black. was the nitrocellulose lacquer painted right over the alder wood? or was it sealed first?

CTS pots 500k audio for the tone pot, and 250k linear for the volume, this is the best cobmination Ive heard. you will have a hard time finding solid shaft in a linear taper though. so i use a split shaft cts there and solid for tone
