I joined a band at 55 years old, after only playing the bass for about a year. I was up front with my experience levels and they were helpful, relaxed and encouraging. Happy to work with me as long as I put the work in. Go for it and have fun. :thumbsup:

I love my Gretsch though, I had all the electronics upgraded and setup, plays great, just hums. Now I know about the pickups I’ll get it shielded…

I use a drum stool, wish it had a back rest.

Yep, new acquisition. I got her about a week ago…still getting used to it, feels a little different to my fender pbass.
