the current bass i have is just not doin it for me, so i went on a search for a new bass on the internet then i ended up with 2 basses. the esp f4-e and the dean edge pro 4. which bass do u guys think is the better bass and why? here are some links for the basses...

i play thrash metal and i cant make mind on theses basses. im sorry i cant post links to more information. musician's friend.com has pretty good descriptions of both basses.

i like to play with high gain and distortion until it sounds almost like an guitar. i like to play very fast technical stuff an no slap my favorite bassists gotta be cliff burton of Metallica and i prefer active pickups

i play metal if that matters... and i prefer a 4 string bass

thnx i actually agree the esp is a over all better bass. the only reason i was thinking of getting the t bird is because i play one right now

i was looking at basses and i made up my mind on two basses the epiphone thunderbird pro-iv and the esp ltd b4e. which one do you guys recommend. sorry i cant post links to them the forum doesnt let me.
