where is the best place to buy the strings? i assume the internet is cheaper than guitar center, sam ash, etc. or, are they the best when they offer the multiple set package deals.? mike

it appears that they are both 3 5/8", 92mm. any recommendation as far as which dimarzio to use? i plan on using this as a recording instrument so i want it to be as quiet as possible without losing that jbass edge. i'm not hooked on dimarzio either so i'm open as to brand.

i just recently purchased a used 1995 mim fender jbass. pickups are ok but i've read a lot about the dimarzio dp123 pickups as a replacement. i have read that some people have had to sand or route to get the pickups to fit. i can do the soldering but don't want to get into routing if i can...
