Thanks. I pulled the trigger on the MS-3 this morning. Fulfills both my guitar and bass needs at once.

So a couple things maybe someone who has this can answer. This looks like a mashup of the GT1 and GT1B, with the 3 loops, but without a pre-amp and looper. Sound about right?

I agree with Larry 100%. I really do like my Ray5, a terrific, inexpensive bass, very well made, incredible value. These aren't EBMMs, or even SBMMs, but are a great entry priced bass, perfect for beginners, anyone looking to move from 4 and try a 5 and really anybody that just plain old...

That's exactly what I did to mine and I do like it. Actually ones a little larger, too.

Can anybody chime in on this? I don't have a metric ruler :hmm: but I'm thinking it's 16mm based on my creaky eyes and old tape measure.

Too bad I've spent too much the last couple few weeks. :crying: I played the Mint Green SUB (again) yesterday and it's fantastic. I love it.

It looks good in red. I have the SB14 in red, but the pickguard is white. I think this black one is a bit nicer actually.

IMO making the move to the active electronics requires some adjustment. I played a couple of OLPs before I purchased this Ray5. I also own a pair of EBMM StingRay 4s, an SBMM SB14, and a Squier Active Jazz V. I think the Ray5 really blows the OLPs away. As I said it took a while to sort out...
