    with metal, try Ampeg or GK. I would think of Ashdown not so "dark" enough to match the stuff you play. Same for Hartke (at least for the 3500 model; but i would try the LH500 as well). But at the end, it's a matter of taste and how you play...

    thanks to all, i'll go for a Fafner. Strange to say, fafner and TD650 get the same price on the second hand market, though Fafner is more expensive than the TD650 at the retailer. I will add an EBS 410 cabinet.

    happy to read that my first impression about EBS Fafner is shared by many of you. Being the Fafner all valves, is it too frail to carry it on stage (rather than using it in rec studios)? is TD650 more solid on tours?
