I have the head version of this combo and it's great! The eq is extremely flexible and there is enough power there to handle bigger gigs with the right cabinet(s). I bought it to keep in our practice space so I wouldn't have to lug my old Traynor there, but I did a few NYC gigs with it over...

I haven't owned either, but I was playing through these at GC on Friday and I have to agree. I couldn't get the M6 to sound as good as the M3.

I'm right in Bel Air too! I have a Custom Special as well, a '68. It's such an increbible amp. It's taking a lot of strength to not message you to buy this one as well, hahaha! I wish mine had an impedance selector like this one though!!
