SVT head is the most powerful i have ever played thru, although Jaco's Acoustic set up looked nice.

b15 in studio would be my second favorite choice. what a nice amp.

I had an Acoustic 150 (guitar head 100w @ 8 ohm, 200w @4 ohms) pushing two Altec 421a 15 inch speakers in parallel at 4 ohms in a guild ported 2x15 cabinet i inherited and put the speakers in. Played some decent club dates over 2 years and only added another amp when out side.

the Altecs are fantastic. I had a hand me down Guild 2x15 ported cabinet into which I loaded 2 421a speakers and gigged all through the late 70s with. Great sound even with my measly 100w Acoustic head. Ran it 4 ohms. never needed more unless outdoors.
