I just came across an old Trump Brand bass. Couldn’t find much info on it other than the brand’s parent company is Bruno & Sons and the Trump brand was operated out of Japan from the ‘60s until about ‘82. Going completely off topic one, I have an old Lyra melodeon made in Germany by a company called Bruno.

In all seriousness, the bass has the looks of a Teisco. I see a few hits on google for Trump branded guitars which are all listed as being built by Teisco, dunno if that's conclusive, but it has all the hallmarks of cheap MIJ 1960s brand guitars/bass. And the plastic tuner knobs, that intense ply(?) lines on the neck, the general shape of the thin body and the knobs/pickup all scream Teisco to me.
