I see different pricings on eBay and curious if they are all analog or only the original 80s version?

I usually match my gain and master at 10 or 11 o'clock. But I'm going to try the manual method today.

My amp now has a little issue. Sometimes it won't turn on and make any noise. When this happens, there is a red light on inside. I switched out the speaker cable and it seems to have fixed it, but anyone have experience with this issue? My best guess is that is has some internal protection...

Found one. I guess my confusion was how the ground of the bridge and pickup negative leads connected with the grounding of the pots, but I guess I just have to make sure the pot plate touches the copper activity well? Is that why people have the copper tape coming out of the cavity a bit?

I meant shielded wire. I've been reading "everywhere" and people are always recommending shielded wire for the output jack. Still a little confused with this exact solder points are though; tone pot to output jack? And I agree with you on shielding the wire channels. I botched a pickup rewire...

Shouldn't he have used shielded wire on the output jack?

+1 to the M5 comment. I use an M9/M13. All the same thing. Sounds phat. Tracks fast.

Got the SD800 and damn does it sound good. Really pushes my mark bass cab. Still want to A/B it with a LM800. I wonder if it is similar since they discontinued the SD800 and added the LM800.

I have a discontinued SD800 and was wondering if the LM800 is just the SD800 repackaged. Anyone A/B these?

Are the necks the same on the Squier and the MIM Jazz Bass? I bought new pots and pickups for my Squier but would like to install them on a better bass; might get a new bridge too. The neck on the Squier feels cheap and the truss rod sucks. Neck felt better to me on the MIM but that could be my...
