Thx...so, did you put the specified ports into a box that was less than twice as deep internally as those ports? I think I heard that was a No-No. :-) Yeah maybe I should try the rumble 40, or build a 1.2 CF (approximately) box based on it. I just made a box of about 1.53 c f total for a s2012...

Would this trick also work with my Genzler Magellan MG800? Similar circuitry? :-) I tried asking this question on the Genzler amplification megathread, but, other topics were dominating. @JeffGenzler? The question being, would I get a more tubey result from running at 16 ohms?

Thx... that sounds a LOT like one of the eminence cab suggestions: "BassLite S2010, Larger Vented 1x10" Bass Guitar Cab" Would love to know what do you did for ports, with measurements. :-) Note that the 1.7cf V(total) that Eminence uses always seems to include the driver and ports.

So I used the cab last night, and it actually sounded pretty good I thought, except that it had a same problem as previously when configured with a 1x15 eminence cb158, namely, kind of boomy and unfocused around the low G. Low G being almost exactly the specified resonance a.k.a. Fb for this cab...

Here it is as it currently stands... Still waiting for the 16ohm ca10s to arrive, so there is a ca10 and a s2010 in there now. Sounds pretty good... Will test tonight at impending house party. Hoping that keeping an eye on the speaker cones will alert me to any overpowering.... Wattage wise...
