Don't know if this helps but, my friend plays an acoustic six string that has an ebony fretboard. Every time he plays it his finger tips get black stuff on them. I've never experienced that before on my bass, but it has a rosewood fretboard. :confused: :confused:

Ahh.... it might sound silly but the Pearl Jam cover of Last Kiss, and My Immortal by Evanescence are pretty much the only two songs that can make me cry lol. I dunno I can't explain it, both those songs just break my heart every time I hear em.
