Thought about going with Fender, but went with the GK MB210II. I have to say, it's a great little combo. You can't quite get the Ampeg growl, but it is super tight and punchy with plenty of volume for my needs. And it doesn't make any noises (except the ones you want it to make).

Just wanted to put this out there. I have returned three of these amps (BA210v2) within the last month. The first and third had the rattle in the amp compartment that has been described in this thread. The second one had a 60hz buzz that sounded like electricity coming out of the speakers that...
