I love my Jazz Bass, but it now sports a fatter p-bass neck which makes it sing a bit fuller in the higher register. There is something about the depth of both pu full-on (the slight dip in the mids, to solid lows, growly low mids and airy highs) than cannot be replicated with single pu basses...
