    The Passinwind Open Source Preamp

These look pretty sweet with the goth PCB option from OSH park. Got a couple going spare so if anyone in the UK wants one drop me a PM Gonna be a while before I get to build mine up sadly as I'm in-between moving house. Great looking project though, thanks to PW and all involved!

Squier Jaguar Short Scale Club Part 3

Best way to choose between DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups- choose both. Both basses are from the same 2014 batch bought at the same time, the one with the DiMarzio's is mine and the other is a friends bass. Sound great together!

Squier Jaguar Short Scale Club Part 3

You're going to have an awesome bass, i just swapped out a single DP127 for the 126 set and it sounds even better than before! Also, as a recommendation to everyone- try out the Ernie Ball 45-105 short scale strings, all the beef of the E and A of the D'Addarios but with slightly lighter D and...

Squier Jaguar Short Scale Club Part 3

Could anyone help me out with a little info? I want a new nut for my Jag SS and need to know if it is a curved or flat bottom, but don't really want to remove it to find out. I searched these threads as best I can but couldn't find out. Anyone on here do an upgrade and can advise me? I want a...

Squier Jaguar Short Scale Club Part 3

So, I'm one year in to my relationship with my Squier Jag Short Scale, and thought I'd give some longer term thoughts on the bass. During the last twelve months I've gigged and recorded exclusively with this bass, along with weekly three-hour band practises and songwriting at home, and it has...

@hillerup those bass bridges are sadly too wide with bass string spacing, that's the problem I had while looking. The e to e spacing needs to be the same as a guitar bridge to work. That allparts one is exactly what I wanted, but a standard guitar size...

Is there a bridge you can think of that I might've missed? The tele one is a bit of a wierd look...

That's a very kind offer, but I certainly can't come up with the rest of the parts so easily so I'll pass. Thank you very much, though. 1) You're totally right about the pickguard, and I will be making a one piece guard for it somewhere down the line 2) I also have reservations about the...

I own a Harley Benton club

Cool, I'll check out the HB forum soon. Going away for a few days so they'll be no progress till next week now. So far as weight, the two bodies were 1.4 and 1.6 kg, but obviously lost a fair bit of weight each during the... procedure... I don't think it'll weigh much at all, probably around a...

Thanks, glad you dig it. I'd much rather it looked "fun" than "heavy", so maybe chrome is for the best. (I'm totally in love with your scroll bass, by the way. I want one soooo bad.) What do you think about pickup colour on this? I'm thinking white covers, but considering a dimarzio rail...

Thoughts? The colour is paler in real life, as it's milk paint. Slightly chalky, matte finish. Kind of wish my budget could run to black hardware, but it's not really possible :(

I own a Harley Benton club

I've not posted here for a while, but it's good to have read through the last 30 or so pages of Harley Benton joy :) I was originally inspired to take a gamble on a HB bass by this thread so I thought try to make you all smile with a sneak peak of my new project, which after a long hiatus (new...
