I prefer active, even in a conservative P-bass. If you are after the so-called real P tone, why would you get an active bass to begin with?

I'm answering myself. Yes. No problem, apart from the fact that the QP is loud as hell and the Noiseless is very quiet. Oh well, I didn't use the bridge pickup solo anyway.

Long fingers, but still prefer J neck, as thin/narrow as they get. Liked the thin Ibanez neck, too. Not a big deal, though, I love P&J both and just switched from a really narrow to a not-as-narrow J neck.
