I just ordered this clone. I was shocked at the price. I thought it was the darkglass B7K Ultra and then saw the logo on the bottom. I figure for $90 it was worth a try. I saw some mention adding a compressor. Is this necessary or what?

Does the Magellan Pre use a compressor? Is there any control of it if it does?
