Thanks - never actually tried mine in stereo - always assumed that the two outputs were used together. So, if I understand - the rick-o-sound output would take a stereo (3 conductor) male cable, and that cable then terminates into two mono plugs - one for each amplifier input?

Since they're all Tech 21 products you might consider calling Tech 21 - I had a technical question about impedance and emailed them for clarification (Lloyd?) - they were very friendly and helpful.

Haven't tried the Optima strings, but when I switched from using Rotosounds, then D'Addario Chromes to the Thomastek-Infeld Jazz Flats the tension was reduced enough that I had to adjust the truss rods on the 4003.
