Ok I collected myself and tested using the breathing function. breathing (dipswitch #1) = *away* from the numbered side of the dip switch = *away* from the branded side of the unit. According to the unit this is OFF and UP arrow. Physically for me this is actually DOWN. Ridiculous design but...
