Nice bass! For a 62 RI, it looks weird though, only one pickup and two pots... almost like a p-bass ;)

And Caca was right - after removing the pguard I found additional holes at the right location... So that makes that one a replacement even though its shrunk and green... Ya still think its worth the 1900 I paid for it???

It's in pretty decent shape, only a few chips on the headstock - otherwise it's practically mint. Any recommendations on how to treat the neck? My other basses are 70s PVC-covered monsters, and that will almost certainly only wear off if sanding paper was used... Would you use any oil?

Well actually I'm a worse photographer than a bass player (obviously...) - and my photo gear sucks also a bit more than my bass gear. Anyhow, the color is very fiesta (looks almost like a brick).

Just bought this baby and it sounds amazing... From what I can tell, it seems genuine, but what are the expert oppionions on this?
