    What's up with SWR?

silky smoove, i meant they are popular in the market because there are alot of them for sale. I guess its relative though. Like people said, it's probably because they've been around so long. I see alot of new amps on ebay. Guess there are just a lot of resellers out there.

    What's up with SWR?

While browsing different sites for a used bass head, I noticed SWR heads are by far the most popular on the market, especially the 350,550 and 750 series. I haven't had a chance to play one. Are they just very specific to one genre or just lack tone? Why are there so many out there?

Will a better speaker make my combo any louder?

+1. I think this is what he was getting at. A more efficient speaker will be able to make a bit better use out of the 15 watts. While you can certainly tell the difference between more a more efficient speaker when a couple hundred watts are applied, im not so sure about 15. Why don't you try it...

    Peavey Amps Club

For anyone that has a Mark IV or a similar amp, what kind of cabs are you using? I'm probably going to end up with a Mark IV from ebay, and am curious as to what kind of cabs your running! I've seen alot of ampegs and peavey cabs. Anyone using Avatar's or other cabs?

Which headphones are good for practicing with your bass?

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD-555s and they work great. Really good for listening to music as well. Good freq response, very clear, transparent, balanced sound , and super comfortable! Amazon has them for the cheapest at 90 bucks.
