I got my Daphne blue one last week. Absolutely killer deal for $450. Nice and light at 7.9lbs, sounds great, and no issues with the frets/tuners/action that I've seen mentioned in other places. I got lucky...or maybe I didn't get unlucky? Also, I have to say that the blue looks so much nicer...

On the guitar center website, the Sunburst is listed as Nyatoh, while the black also doesn't have the wood listed there.

Hey everyone, I'm getting the short scale SBMM in Daphne Blue with that guitar center sale, and I think it'd look really nice with a black pickguard. Does anyone know where to get a replacement pickguard? Do the pickguards for the US short scales fit?

Love it! Didn't know they were putting out new music this year, so this was a really nice surprise. Thanks for posting it. The whole song was great, but I really dug that whole spacy jam section at the end with the spoken words. Very cool.

I'm red-green colorblind, and the thing that drives me nuts is when a pedal will have multiple settings and you can only tell which setting is on based on whether the light is red or green. They look exactly the same! :thumbsdown:

I went from a Dingwall to a Squier P Bass(Matt Freeman sig). The Dingwall was awesome, but the Squier also sounds great, feels great, and I enjoy playing it as much as I did the Dingwall. The Squier is my only bass at the moment

I dug the album more on the second listen than the first, but still... Also, the chorus to The Heavy Wing makes me want to hear them do an album as a trio with John on vocals
