I’ve done it a couple of times (Eminence in an SKB golf club case). No one asked and I didn’t say anything and I wasn’t charged. I think they just assumed it was clubs when they saw the case. Guess it couldn’t help to put some golf-related stickers on there! :)

Really cool McCartney-esque melodic bass all over this track (first comes in the pre-chorus), apparently played by the producer Tony Berg, who’s done a ton of great stuff going back to the 70s.

Was just listening to the classic Cat Stevens album Tea For Tillerman. There’s some great upright playing on there by John Ryan but I can’t find much info about him. Excellent, full-bodied tone! It appears that he played on some Carly Simon records in the 70s and one person on a forum on Discogs...

Okay I found that Music Man still has the dimensions up on their site even though the bass appears to be discontinued. If anyone wants to confirm just to make sure though, I'd appreciate it- thanks! The site says 12-11/16" wide (I'm assuming lower bout; upper bout of the case is about 11.5)...

Hey everyone! I recently procured a Music Man-branded hard case in a trade and I'm planning to put it up for sale soon. Upon inspection, however, it's clear that it does not fit a StingRay. As best as I can figure, it appears to be for a Music Man Caprice, as that's the only model I can find...

*Update!* I just assumed the Ibanez would be too wide for a regular case but it was an illusion, as it actually fits fine in a regular Mono Vertigo bag!

Resurrecting this thread with a slightly different question: does anyone know if there are any "premium" gig bags (ie Mono, Reunion Blues, Gruv Gear, or the like) that will fit this bass?

You can only really see it at the very beginning of the video. Looks like it might just be a Jazz Bass with a crazy custom pickguard and perhaps different pickups? Hard to tell....

Thanks for the suggestions! Will definitely check out these options. What I ultimately envision is an app that could to a NNS chart but have the ability to insert a staff anywhere you want on the page.
