I have a ravaged '94 SWR Workingmans 15 combo that has been "worked on" (mutilated) by it's previous owner. Their have been some components de-soldered, and wiring connections cut. I have gotten schematics from SWR, but it would be VERY helpful to have some pictures of the wiring and chassis...

I'm running a '68 bassman through it, and Ted at Weber recommended the Michigans. Just needed to know about the holes.

These are the diagonal speaker placement. I am loading it with Weber Michigans.

I'm replacing speakers on a fender bassman cab (2x15), and I was noticing it had 4 holes drilled into the bottom of the cab (I assume these were for the original casters). Anyway, the casters were replaced and relocated on the bottom, and I was wondering if these holes should be plugged, or left...

thanks for all the input guys, I pulled the other speaker and found it to be an aftermarket= an STS brand?. Anyway... I think I'll go with a couple Webers- not sure which model yet.

I'd be interested in hearing what the gurus at Weber say. Just getting ready to head to the U.K. but, I'll be looking for your assesment of the different speakers for bass drivers.

Thanks, Sean...I just picked up the Bassman and cab for $250...I think I won't be hurtin' too much to drop another $220 into it for the Thames. One question- Why the Thames over other Weber ceramics?

would I be wise to leave the cabinet original, or should I cut ports into it?... what are the pro's and cons of porting these speakers?

yes, they are diagonal, :crying: so, is this a cabinet that would be suited for a 2 speaker upgrade?. And would K140's be worth hunting down- they seem a bit high powered for a 50 watt head.

I lost a speaker in my Bassman 50 cab and am trying to decide if I should replace one,(non-matching) or both (matching) speakers. Because it is not ported, I would appreciate any input this forum would throw my way. TIA!:help: Also- what are some recommendations for speakers for this...
