Being a long time admirer of the MS, not (yet) an owner, my favourite application of the amp would have to be with Trap Them. Their bass player has a modest mention on the players page of the Verellen website, but the sound shines through an already massive guitar sound. A good example is here

Bogey, that's awesome. I will admit I got excited at the idea of actually finding a Sunn where I live, but I'm not eager to dive into something that could have that much going on with it. Again, thank you for the help. I hope after time I can be as much a contributing member to the knowledge here.

This is the V4, 8x10 and Jazz I've been using. The jazz is strung BEAD. I only really get the bite that I love with both pickups at ten and volume at least at noon, but worth it. Will need more power for driving lower tunings later!

I was just told the fuse was probably ceramic and those are usually near impossible to blow. Thank you for the input guys, I'll see about testing the speakers!

Hey guys, New to the forums here, been doing a lot of reading and time came to ask some questions. I found an ad for a Sunn Coliseum 300 and Sunn Beta 2x15 cab which were both reportedly 'blown from a short.' I went to look today hoping the guy had just played too loud and not known how to...
