Well, the bass is finally done, sounds almost like a cross between a Jazz and a Spector, plays great, really loving how it came out! Might have to make another one soon!

It is in fact staying! Thanks for the kind words! I saw the billet and couldn’t pass it up for the price. The bass is in fact done (although missing strings because I’m waiting for them to be delivered, pictures soon!) and the guitar is a little ways away due to waiting for parts

Guitar is shortly behind, just now done with the finish on the bass, had a little oopsie when I routed the pickups though. Another day or so to cure a little better and then I’ll start on assembly!

Neck pockets cut

Another quick update, bodies and necks cut out and shaped. Ready for some sanding and routing neck pockets!

Been awhile since I’ve posted an update to this, it got put on the back burner for awhile, decided to make them multiscales, necks/fretboards glued, body designs decided on, next is some work on the bandsaw to cut them out

45-125 (5 string) I wouldn’t say they’re floppy, they’re imo in between too taught and floppy, just flexible enough without too much give

Usually last me 2-4 weeks to lose that nice new zing, change them when I get around to it or if I have a gig, whichever comes first. Been digging on SIT SS foundations lately, so far they’re the best bang for the buck for me.

“Aside from the obvious” leaves little else that would likely be wrong outside of the preamp itself having a fault. I’d double check and re-flow the “obvious” first tbh

Did a whole bunch of digging to try and come up with some schematics and stumbled across this on Facebook, can anyone confirm or deny this????

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by, I’m trying to find a schematic for a thunderfunk 750a I recently acquired, issues were advertised, now I get to fix it. However, I can’t seem to find schematics for it anywhere, the few I’ve found online or in other threads here are for the 420 or 550. Any help...
