I bought this bass about 2-3 years ago and till this day I have no idea how old it is. The head stock logo is out of the ordinary compared to many others just like it. Does anyone have a clue what year this was made in?

So far nothing other than the neck spacing with the body looks like hack job work compared to other CT products

Well after some floating around on the internet i also noticed the floating neck piece is alot more open then the originals and other CT's. Is this just the model or how they usually make it?

If it weighed practically nothing and it was Hofner brand then it is indeed vintage or a reissue both reissues and vintage cost about the same $2000-$3000 But if your looking for a cheaper version but same tone go for a Hofner High bass series or Hofner Contemporary series
