I can borrow an EHX bigg muff deluxe, that has a gate on it.. I'll have a go at that first.. certainly a cheaper way than getting a Rusty Box! fingers crossed..

Thanks all! They are very entertaining - a really excellent band. I've tried a fuzz pedal (an EHX deluxe) but it was really fizzy on top or dull when I rolled the tone off.. mmm.. I'll see if I can source any of your suggestions.. Cheers!
