Effects advice

An ODB-3 should be close enough. If you chase the perfect effect for this song, it's gonna be an expensive ride. And it's not like someone is going to hear you play it and say, well, the original had X, Y or Z. I doubt their new (since 2010) bassist is playing the same effect.

As some others already suggested, this might probably be some kind of gated fuzz (or even Bitcrusher?) kind of pedal. Doesn't really sound like some overdrive or distortion to me.

by the way, their "new" Bassplayer seems to go for a similar sound, at least in this video:
