Update: My dealer informed me that I could send the bass back, because it will be picked for an inspection by Fender … some days later I received the information that they will exchance the Vintera 60s for another one … no results about the "inspection" … A friend who works in another shop...

Yes, sadly there's something wrong with the construction of my 60s-J ... it has the same pickup-spacing like the 70s-J - that couldn't be right! ... I've sent a reclamation to my dealer who has forwarded the e-mail to Fender/Mexico ... but I've no idea if the complaint will succeed

I want a 60s-style-precision - but not as expensive as from the American-Original-line ...

You're right, @80jazz ... but inca-silver was used from 1960 til 1965 - and now with the Vintera 70s J ... but in my opinion it is a very cool color for the glam-rock- and new-wave-aera in the 1970s :)...

Thank you for your reply, @FenderOli … It's a photo of my own basses, I've made it some days ago … as you can see, the bridge-pickup of both basses are parallel to the respective tone-control-knob - as far as I know this is called "classical 70s-pu-spacing" … Also I've measured the distances …...
