    NAD - Mesa 215

More than enough for me. I'm just a home player.

    NAD - Mesa 215

I replaced my Ampeg 15 with this. I was shocked I didn't get any complaints. She only asked if I was going to sell the other one.

Was able to play a 115, but not a 215. Happy I made this choice.

    Five string for 4 player

Great post as always Wisebass. I greatly appreciate all the input on this post, lots of great suggestions, and important points. As I often find, not easy to find the basses to play. I am intrigued by all the positive Yamaha talk, and the price is right. Headed to my local GC to see what they...

    Five string for 4 player

A lot of love on this post for Yamaha. I've always read they are a great value for the money. Assuming they do a good job with the B string, and the balance between the strings?

    Five string for 4 player

I've wondered about the string spacing with fives, and what it's like from brand to brand.

Liking your Line 6 POD Express Bass?

I just ran into this product. I believe it is quite new, and am wondering how people like them? I have a B1 Four Zoom. I have thought processing problems, and don't find the Zoom very intuitive for me. The Line 6 appears it might be more straight forward to use. If you have used both, how do...

Am I the only one wanting to learn entire songs as recorded?

Very good advice, and very well spoken, thank you! I agree that is probably what my teacher is trying to tell me, and maybe I haven't been understanding.

Thanks for the response. It sounds like you have a good thing going. It's nice to hear from other older relatives beginners!

Am I the only one wanting to learn entire songs as recorded?

Good points, thank you. At my last lesson I mentioned that I wanted to work on telling the difference between what's "part of the song", as he puts it, and what isn't.

Am I the only one wanting to learn entire songs as recorded?

He did say when I first played for him that he didn't know why I was there, so I must be doing something ok
