I have some switches like the ones in your post. They are convenient (especially as we are frequently restarting Anagram while developing blocks), but I do find they are not very well shielded and pick up a lot of noise from the nearby USB cable, if plugged in.

You can use a split and use the gain block on one split with Invert Polarity on to do a null test, to see if it's exactly the same. I like doing this to hear what a pedal is 'adding'
