Finally! Ampeg collection is completed. HOLY GRAIL!

Ready to play The Pusher now? I've always heard George Biondo used SBT's with a Scroll bass.

    I hate pawn shops

I got my 73' Ampeg V4 for $100 from one, all it took was a new 6K11 and a few resistors.

    Fender 300 PS???

IMHO, I would be wary of it, as to me $300 is too good to be true. I would absolutely do it if it checks out, but as I said, and many others have said, "when it's too good to be true..."

You would think that for $24,000 he would at least use good grammar.....

1965 VOX Phantom IV Clones, two of them to menace.

So yours is Long Scale? Do you have a template of the body by chance? Don't need a physical one, just a scalable paper copy i can print off would do. Planning on making my own Phantom bass as well. Cheers!

1965 VOX Phantom IV Clones, two of them to menace.

Gotcha. It looks great! I've got a Teardrop hollowbody bass as made by Phantom Guitarworks, but his Phantom just isn't quite there (Imho) while yours looks spot on. Mainly the knob placement and lack of bridge cover. (On his i mean)

    Basic Speaker Design Questions

Thanks for the help. Next step is to begin cutting it, Beta 15 is on the way. Also, does it matter where the port is? I.e. above the speaker, below, next to, etc..

    Basic Speaker Design Questions

This is why I asked questions before cutting anything. So, If I had a box that was 20x24x14, for a volume of 3.8 cu.ft, plus my two ports would be acceptable? (So wide so it can fit my V4 head, and not hang off the sides)

    Basic Speaker Design Questions

Thanks! I had a feeling that was rather big for a driver such as a Beta 15. If it was a 3015 then maybe, but i digress. The Beta 15 is fairly flexible about enclosures correct? All i'm going for is a Vintage style 15, which will be paired with a V4. Could i get away with a Ampeg B-15 size...

    Basic Speaker Design Questions

Hi all, So, if I was to use a Eminence Beta 15A speaker in a speaker enclosure, the spec sheet recommends a volume of 8.3cubic feet^3. So, If i was to have a cabinet that was 33 inches tall, by 24 inches wide, by 22 inches deep, i would come up with a volume of 8.4cubic feet^3. I've been...
