Yeah, I'm not sure I can go without the thumpy->compressor combo now. It makes my signal so clean and even. Works great for compression(when I use my diamond comp) and limiting(OC bass). Highly recommended, pick one up from the classifieds if you can!

It's right before the OC bass compressor. I like it after all the pedals that add bass/volume and before the comp. I prefer how my fuzz and chorus pedal act with the extra low content but if I put ol' thumpy last, my comp usually over compresses due to the extra low. I really lurv the...

IE Polytrope sounds pretty weird with extreme settings. Actually there are more weird sounds than normal ones now that I'm thinking about it.....

I put the thumpinator later in the chain because i wasn't sure how much additional bass frequencies my filters and OC-2 were adding. I do seem to bottom out the diamond when slapping or aggro playing, so maybe that would lighten the load going in. In your experiences, do Octaves track as well...

Japanese OC-2. One of the more reliable pedals I own believe it or not.

If you can find one, pick up a Tronographic Rusty Box. It sounds killer. I just got one myself. It can do a lot of sounds. From clean boost to full blown distortion. It's also very sensitive to dynamics so it breaks up like a tube amp would.
