    High quality stock music

I really like the library stuff they did in the seventies and early eighties. KPM, Bruton, De Wolfe etc. Especially the more ambient/synth based stuff but there's of course lots of brilliant funky stuff out there. And also more weirder things like this from France's Tele Music.

Unfortunately no, at least not at the moment. We might do a cd when both parts (Painovoima II is coming out in October) have been released. CDs are almost harder to sell these days it seems. I do buy cds a lot and on most occasions choose a cd over the vinyl when buying new albums. For example...

We had 150 pressed. With a seven piece band and a small benefit from the city it wasn't too much per person but I wouldn't dream of making that payment on my own with or without the benefit. And of course we have to sell the lot! All the profit most likely go to the funding of the next one...

I'm not one of those who think vinyl is the ultimate format etc. and I do like cd's as much BUT I have to admit that it was a good feeling this morning when the band's long awaited album was brought in by the mailman. I haven't appeared on a vinyl album since 2016 so it was about time.

Thanks for asking! It went very well indeed. I forgot my synthesizer stand but 4 empty beer crates and a black cloth solved the problem. :D

    Are all cab IRs terrible?

I have found that when I record with a tone I'm after I play differently than if I was recording with only DI signal. Especially if an overdriven sound is desired.

    Top 10 Bass instrumental records?

Eberhard Weber was already mentioned (rightly so!). I'll add his 1977 release "Following Morning" to the list. Then there's Finland's own Pekka Pohjola, the late great bassist/composer. His first album "Pihkasilmä Kaarnakorva" has a lot of bass playing and slightly Zappa-esque but still unique...

Videos of you playing in your band.

Here's one from a gig in last December. The cam was behind the drummer only but that doesn't really matter.
