About 10 years ago they made a pretty faithful reissue of the old 1950’s XKSS. Came out great. I would love to have or even just drive one, but really wish it had a LHD option.

This sort of view is common on one of my bike routes. V especially might appreciate it.
Unfortunately there's no sidewalk or even shoulder on the other side of the bridge, so this is the best we can see that direction. Where can I get a smart drone with a great camera to follow me on bike rides? I could assume control to take pics. It would need at least two hours flight time per battery; I don't want to stop more frequently than that for a battery change. Oh, and under $200 while we're at it. Yeah, I know.

I assume so since the launch was in LA. Parts of the shoot look like The PCH between Malibu and Magoo. The canyon road looks like the Deer Creek and Mulholland area, great twisty roads there.

I’ll take a look at the XKSS article though. A school friend’s Dad had a C Type and then a D Type and evidently well known in the local Jag u ar and Triumph owners circle. I never got to see them but the school mate gave me a short ride in his TR3A. I assume the Trumpy was his apprenticeship before joining the Jag ranks.
The said father quit his corporate life in wine and started a classic car restoration business. It got a write up in the Aussie magazine “Sports Car World” back in the late 70s.

As I've mentioned in the past, I knew the QC manager for Lucas Electrical. Colin Tearney was his name and I'm sure he got quite tired of the jokes. Kind of like sheep noises when passing a Welshman's desk.
