Remasking prior to clearcoat.
Verreh happeh with how the edges came out.

Going to be interesting to see how the cut phenolic edges look under the clear. Tests looked pretty cool. Resisted the urge to black them out with dye.

Counting on the clear to resolve some thin scratches on the face, too... polishing it out would lose the weave texture.

TBCH I'm kind of counting on the clear to fix a lot of stuff, lol. Kind of like the old saying:

Chefs cover mistakes with sauce,
Lawyers with words,
Doctors with dirt.

Hack builders, with clearcoar. 😁
Clearcoar sounds like a nearly invisible animal one would encounter in the outback.

You all can have Twosday, I’ll take Pozole-day.

Birria taco Tuesday! Never mind that 5 of the last 7 days have been taco days!

That's looking really nice - Modelmaking skills are showing, edges are tight!
I hear ya on the clearcoat!

Wow, haven't heard that one in a while. I think y'all would kick it up a notch or two (rock it) and it would sound great and go over well.

Since I am the band's "Musical Director" I look for songs that will set us apart from the multitude of other cover/tribute bands around here, not that we don't play rock "standards" for certain events and venues, we do. There are many shows, especially local ones that really let us stretch it and the audience would much rather hear us do a song like "Because the Night", instead of Bon Jovi's "Runaway", however if we go to Pt. Angeles the reverse is probably true, so we have a lot of music to work with. We have an outdoor show in early August that likely will be the premier of "Ornamental Bush" our '60s/ '70s band that will play no Classic Rock.
