Just thought I would add - I had both a 5 string Bongo (painted) and a Stingray 5 (natural). Sold the Bongo in the end, as when they were next to each I always picked up the Stingray. The Stingray was also a lot nicer balance although still a major lump of wood.

Thanks for that info - I guess the wheels aren't a deciding factor then. My concern is the lift to and from the back of an X5, but it seems like 50lbs is the optimum power to weight ratio. Even my Bagend 115 rehearsal cab weighs 49lbs, however the handles are in totally the wrong place to make...

Just as a matter of interest - I am also trying to make the decision on these 2 cabs. As they seem very similar and my reason for changing from a 4x10 cab is one of portability - how useable are the wheels on the GB? I assume the Berg doesn't have any? Does this make a difference to manhandling...

Almost made the decision to get the GB Neox 212 then discovered that 2 x Eden EX112 could be an option. Has anybody made a similar comparison with maybe a Shuttle 6.0 or TC RH450?

I can be smug about the beer as I live within 15 miles of 3 good breweries - but it is still a 350 mile round trip to the closest music shop that doesn't just stock bottom range stuff.
