Eden Cabs: EX line (EX110, EX112, EX410)

I've played through the 110 and the 112. Very smooth tight sounding cabinets. I really liked them a lot. I preferred the 112 as it had a lot more girth versus the 110. They're not as efficient as Eden's other cabs but I really like them. Just wish they were offered in 8 ohm as well as 4 ohms.
They come in both 4 ohm and 8 ohm versions.
the EX110 is 4 ohms, and the EX1108 is 8 ohms. They add an "8" on the end of the model number for the 8 ohm versions.
I just ordered an EX112 in 4 ohms. Beyond Eleven was offering it shipped for $229. It appears to be visually identical in structure to an EA Wizzy 10, right down to the wizzer cone speaker.
They only come with a single 1/4" jack on the back. I already have a speakon jack ready to replace it as first order of business, and it will be my mini-rig to pair with a GK MB200 micro head.

Been gigging with the EX112 (and TC Electronic RH450 amp) steadily for the last 2 months.
Absolutely no complaints on smaller gigs ( I have an Eden 210XST that I use as an ext cab for larger gigs ) great sound and surprisingly a nice bottom end from this cab.
Just a %^%%$# about the EX112 not having a link out to another cab, as mine is an 8ohm cab, and the input is 1/4 inch and not speakon - but no big deal really.
Certainly doesn't disappoint in the volume or tone fronts.

I actually ordered one of these from Beyond Eleven shortly after they were announced. After waiting week after week with no product, or any idea of availability, I bailed and grabbed a couple of 112's off the classifieds. I'm kinda gassing now wheres I'm not crazy about what I wound up with, and a stack of those would have made for a nice, sleek, portable rig..
Interesting info. Thanks. Have been thinking about giving one or two EX1128s a go. Shoot, for ~$350 shipped, maybe even an EX410.
Construction seems sound? They don't feel/look cheap in person?
Can the 1/4" be swapped out easily for a speakon? Would be nice if so.

I have the 4 Ohm EX110 cab. The construction is top-notch, but the branding on the cabinet is very misleading. It's an 'Eden' cabinet, but clearly has Nemesis-branded corners and a Nemesis label on the back. Not that I mind... I love Nemesis gear. But it's misleading to have the gold Eden logo on the grille if it's actually Nemesis gear. Just an FYI.
I have been using, at my own risk I know, my WTX500 head with it, but have been very careful not to push it at all. It sounds fantastic! Since the cab is rated at only 300 watts I rarely push the volume past noon on the WTX500 head. I've run it at 1:00, but was very leery about it. It held up very well. I also run an external compressor in front of the amp to avoid spikes and such to protect the cab further. So far this has worked out well. Would I do a gig with it where a drummer who is remotely loud was playing? I doubt it. Even the WTX500 head has a hard time keeping up with a drummer through this 1x10 cab. More speakers are the only answer. That said, if you are planning on doing coffeehouse gigs, jazz gigs with a sensitive drummer, or acoustic/duo stuff, this would be a GREAT cabinet choice. Just don't expect it to keep up with a loud drummer or against a loud guitarist.

As the previous poster said - "would I run it with a loud drummer" - probably not but it can take a fair bit volume for a single 12 and deliver nicely.

I have a question: i love The sound of my 210xlt cabs and i'm looking for The closest sound possible in a small and light package To match an Eden head. Would The ex112 or 110 cabs give me That sound? What about The articulation of The lows and how is The High end With these cabs?

I received my cab, ordered from BeyondEleven.com after 6 weeks. (!!!) Not worth the $20 savings over Amazon for that kind of delay, that's for sure. Their site even said "in stock" when I ordered, but they later admitted that they drop-ship from the manufacturer. (Strange way of doing business - they wait two weeks after you order then send all their drop-ship order requests out in a "batch").
This is a nicely-built little cabinet with a quality driver. Sure, the 1/4" jack is a bit lame, but I removed it and had a speakon jack screwed in as a replacement within 5 minutes of un-boxing the cab. Simple, and no "surgery" at all so long as you get the speakon jack with the large round outer flange - a $3 part and a few minutes of my time.
I also put a spring-loaded surface mount handle on the bottom for a "tilt-back" feature - a $4 part.
Sounds great at home with my GK MB200 head and I used it at a jazz gig with my upright bass and it sounded awesome - made load in/out a breeze.
I haven't used it in a loud setting with a drummer, so I can't comment on that other than saying I personally wouldn't even try it without two of these stacked.. I will say that it sounds suprisingly balanced with a nice crisp, but not overbearing top end. This thing is a real hidden gem.

I'm curious about the EX110 and EX112 cabs. Has anyone compared them to similar cabinets? It would be nice to hear from someone who has directly compared them to an EA 110/112 Wizzy.
Almost made the decision to get the GB Neox 212 then discovered that 2 x Eden EX112 could be an option. Has anybody made a similar comparison with maybe a Shuttle 6.0 or TC RH450?

I keep seeing people saying it can't keep up with a loud drummer, you're talking about on its own or as a stage monitor? I always go through the pa from my vt pedal, so my amp is only for monitoring. With my current setup I don't get very loud and right now I am more interested on making load in and out easy and preserving precious space in vehicles that are carrying pa equipment and other people. In fact, when I run sound and play I leave my amp at home and just di, maybe put it in the monitors if others want but not usually. We're doing weddings and corporate stuff, so we're either squeezed in a tiny spot needing to be quiet or on a huge stage with contracted pa. I also play with 2 children's acts, where I am not usually asked to turn up!
So, my thought is, with budgets being a limit, getting one 1108, then as budget allows, getting a matching, which should be nice with the 400RB I think. On gigs with major space concerns, I could just bring one, and if I need more on rare occasion, I can still bring my 15 until I get the other 1108. Sound like a solid plan?

anyone have any experience with the EX410? looks to be a pretty decent cab if the rolloff isn't too bad.
Well, my plan changed for now because someone gave me a hartke kickback 12, which will fill my needs lightly and free fit in the budget quite well, but I'm still going to remain interested in thoughts about the cabinets for the future.
